Lake Frome Lookout

Lake Frome Lookout offers panoramic views of the expansive Lake Frome, a vast salt pan spanning 100 kilometers in South Australia's Northern Flinders Ranges. This endorheic lake, one of the largest in Australia, is renowned for its unique geological features and seasonal water fluctuations. The lookout provides an excellent vantage point to observe the lake's changing landscape and the diverse birdlife it supports. Visitors can access the area via a four-wheel-drive track from the Vulkathunha-Gammon Ranges National Park, approximately 30 kilometers west. The route is flat and stony after crossing the Balcanoona Creek.
