Lake Catani

Lake Catani, nestled in Mount Buffalo National Park, is a picturesque alpine lake offering a serene retreat amidst snow gum woodlands. Established in 1910, it provides a range of recreational activities, including swimming, kayaking, and fishing. The adjacent campground features 59 campsites suitable for tents, camper trailers, and mobile homes, equipped with facilities such as flushing toilets, hot showers, and a covered kitchen area. During winter, the campground offers free snow camping, accessible by skiing, snowshoeing, or walking. The Lakeside Day Visitor Area, located on the lake shore adjacent to the campground, provides the perfect setting to enjoy a cool swim or paddle.
