Kyabram Fauna Park, now part of Zoos Victoria, spans 55 hectares of parkland and wetlands in northern Victoria. Home to over 600 native Australian animals, including koalas, dingoes, kangaroos, wombats, echidnas, emus, and southern cassowaries, the park offers free-ranging kangaroos, emus, and wallabies. A recent addition of meerkats has become a popular attraction. The park features a walk-through aviary, a heated reptile house with native snakes, lizards, and freshwater crocodiles, and extensive wetlands supporting diverse bird species. Visitor facilities include a café, gift shop, children's playground, and free barbecues. Located just two minutes from Kyabram's town center and a 30-minute drive from Echuca and Shepparton, the park is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm, except Christmas Day. Children under 16 receive free admission on weekends, public holidays, and school holidays.
