Koorana Crocodile Farm, established in 1981, is Queensland's first commercial crocodile farm, located in Coowonga, approximately 30 minutes from Rockhampton and Yeppoon. Home to over 3,000 saltwater crocodiles, the farm offers daily guided tours at 10:30 am and 1:00 pm, with lunch served between 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm. Visitors can witness crocodile hatchings from March to May and have the opportunity to touch and hold a specially trained crocodile. The on-site restaurant serves crocodile meat dishes and standard meals, while the gift shop offers Australian-made crocodile leather products, including wallets, belts, and clothing. Spotlight Dinner Tours are available for group bookings, featuring 3 to 5-course meals and torchlight farm walks. The farm operates daily from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, with the last entry at 2:00 pm.
