Kohinoor

Kohinoor is a rural locality on Kangaroo Island, South Australia, approximately 137 km southwest of Adelaide and 20 km southeast of Kingscote. Established in 2002, it encompasses about 370 hectares of farming land, with around 240 hectares pastured and a history of fertilization. The area features panoramic views to the north, offering potential for tourism accommodation (subject to council approval). The locality is serviced by mains water and power, with stock water provided by dams and Branch Creek. Functional improvements include a three-stand shearing shed, machinery shed, and workshop. The region experiences a Mediterranean climate with warm summers and cool winters, making it suitable for various agricultural activities.
