Located approximately 70 km south of Mount Magnet in Western Australia's Mid West region, the Kirkalocka Gold Mine has a rich history of gold extraction dating back to 2002. After a period of care and maintenance starting in 2008, mining activities resumed briefly between 2018 and 2021 under Adaman Resources. In May 2021, Adaman Resources entered voluntary administration, leading to the cessation of mining operations. The mine is situated near the Kirkalocka sheep station, from which it derives its name.
