Kirby's Beach

Kirby's Beach in Berrara, NSW, is a serene stretch of golden sand bordered by rocky reefs, ideal for exploration and fossil hunting. Accessible via Myrniong Grove, the beach offers parking near Pope Street and a pathway between 12 and 14 Myrniong Grove, leading down to the sands via steps. The northern and southern reefs provide excellent opportunities for rock hopping during low tide. While the beach's wild ocean conditions, including pounding swells and rip currents, may not be suitable for young families, it remains a peaceful spot for beach walks, shell collecting, and occasional fishing.
