Perched atop a three-acre reserve in Kingston Park, Kingston's Historic House offers panoramic views of Adelaide's coastline. Built in 1840 and expanded in 1851, it stands as one of South Australia's oldest residences. The house was the country home of the influential Kingston family, including George Strickland Kingston and his son, Charles Cameron Kingston, both pivotal in the colony's development. Today, the house serves as a cherished community hub, hosting Sunday afternoon Devonshire teas from March to November and available for private functions.
