Nestled on a 64-hectare property at the base of Mt Maroon, Kingsland Camping offers a serene retreat surrounded by the Mt Barney National Park. Ideal for hikers, the Cotswold Trail begins at the campsite's front gate, providing direct access to the mountain's summit. The area is abundant with wildlife, including wallabies and koalas, enhancing the natural experience. While the campsite is family-friendly and suitable for first-time campers, it operates without amenities like showers or potable water, encouraging guests to bring their own supplies and practice a 'leave no trace' approach. Campfires are permitted when restrictions aren't in place, and BYO gas BBQs are welcome. Please note, dogs are not allowed to protect the local wildlife.
