Kings Site Campground, located 5 km southwest of Innamincka, offers a unique camping experience in the heart of the Australian outback. This historic site marks the spot where John King, the sole survivor of the Burke and Wills expedition, was found alive in 1861. Accessed via the Fifteen Mile Track, the campground features three unallocated campsites suitable for tents and camper trailers. Amenities include long-drop toilets, and campfires are permitted, subject to seasonal fire restrictions. Please note, access requires a high-clearance 4WD vehicle.
