
Nestled along Hovells Creek in Lara, Victoria, the Kevin Hoffman Walk is a tranquil trail showcasing over 1,000 native plant species, including 150 indigenous varieties. Spanning nearly a kilometre, its meandering paths offer a serene sanctuary for nature enthusiasts. Notable features include a Western Victorian Volcanic Plains indigenous garden and curated collections of Banksias, Correas, and Eremophilas. The trail, crafted by local resident Kevin Hoffman over four decades, is maintained by the Friends of Kevin Hoffman Walk group in partnership with the City of Greater Geelong Council. Accessible by train and bus from Lara train station, the walk also provides limited on-street parking along Walkers Road and Wingara Drive.
