Nestled in the foothills of the Tallarook Ranges, Kerrisdale Mountain Railway and Museum offers a unique journey through Victoria's railway heritage. Visitors embark on a 35-minute return trip aboard a narrow-gauge train, traversing steep grades and tight curves to reach 'Summit Station,' where panoramic views of the Upper Goulburn Valley await. The experience continues with a guided tour of the steam museum, showcasing meticulously restored engines and historical artifacts. Operated by dedicated volunteers, the venue also features a kiosk, workshop tours, and facilities for all visitors. Train rides are available on Sundays at 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM, with additional services on Fridays, Saturdays, and Mondays by prior arrangement. Please note, picnics are not permitted on-site, and EFTPOS facilities are unavailable; cash payments are accepted.
