Kentucky, NSW

Kentucky Memorial Hall, established on June 7, 1940, is a timber and fibro structure with a gabled galvanised iron roof and an entrance porch. The front sign reads 'Kentucky Memorial Hall, 1940'. Adjacent to the hall are two brick gate supports with capped concrete tops, featuring galvanised iron water pipe gates and several attached plaques. These gates were originally constructed as a memorial for the First World War, bearing the dates 1914 and 1918. They were dedicated on April 25, 1934, and later updated to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.
