Karawatha Forest Discovery Centre

Nestled within Karawatha Forest Park, the Karawatha Forest Discovery Centre offers an immersive experience into Queensland's natural heritage. Visitors can explore interactive exhibits, including a virtual reality tour of the forest and an interactive frog habitat projection. The centre features Queensland's first nature play space, complete with water play, climbing structures, and discovery trails. Additional amenities include a native plant nursery, community composting hub, and meeting rooms available for hire. Open Tuesday to Sunday from 9 am to 4 pm, the centre provides a gateway to over 42 kilometres of walking and cycling tracks within the park.
