Kaniva Wetlands & Fauna Park

Kaniva Wetlands & Fauna Park offers a serene environment with a bird aviary, wildlife park, and wetlands. Visitors can enjoy a looped walking track, outdoor exercise equipment, and picnic areas with free and coin-operated barbecues. The park features public toilets with baby change facilities and free tank water. Parking is available on gravel and bituminized roads, including spaces for caravans. The area is illuminated and provides shaded spots. The park is home to a variety of birds and animals, including Red-tailed Black Cockatoos and a White Western Grey Kangaroo. It also features the original engine that supplied electricity to the town from 1925 to 1964, serving as the starting point for an audio walking tour and an interactive educational game utilizing the walking track's informational panels. The park is accessible and family-friendly, with walking tracks, a family swing, and toilets. It is located 400 meters from the shops and 900 meters from the Silo Art, connected by the Sheep Art Trail.
