Kangaroo Inn

Kangaroo Inn, located in South Australia's Limestone Coast region, is a tranquil rural community surrounded by native bushland and fertile soils. The area is rich in history, notably marked by the Historical Kangaroo Inn Ruins, which served as a vital stopover for travelers, surveyors, and drovers in the 19th century. These ruins, situated opposite the Kangaroo Inn Area School, were added to the State Heritage Register in 1988. The community is also home to the Kangaroo Inn Area School, a K-12 institution committed to innovative learning and community engagement.
