Kangaroo Head is a picturesque locality on the north coast of Dudley Peninsula, Kangaroo Island, South Australia. Overlooking Backstairs Passage and Nepean Bay, it lies approximately 110 kilometers south of Adelaide. Established in 2002, the area encompasses a strip of land between Hog Bay Road and the coastline, primarily used for agriculture. The headland itself, named by explorer Matthew Flinders in 1802, features a bluff, rocky point marked by a conspicuous white cairn, with land rising steeply to heights of 91 to 122 meters.
