Kaltjiti (Fregon) Store

Kaltjiti (Fregon) Store, located in the remote community of Kaltjiti in the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands, serves as a vital resource for local residents. The store is supplied weekly via road train, forming the main supply for the APY Lands. The community, established in 1961, is situated approximately 60 kilometers southwest of Ernabella, along the Officer Creek. Kaltjiti is also home to Kaltjiti Arts, a community-based Indigenous art center that plays a central role in the community's cultural life.
