Jurabi Turtle Centre

Located along the Ningaloo Coast, the Jurabi Turtle Centre offers an immersive experience into the world of marine turtles. Visitors can explore informative displays detailing the turtles' lifecycle and the challenges they face. From December to early March, guided Turtle Eco-Education tours provide opportunities to observe nesting female turtles and hatchlings making their way to the ocean. These tours enhance the chance of witnessing these natural events while minimizing disturbance to the turtles. The centre also features facilities such as toilets and offers activities like bushwalking and swimming. Recognizing the traditional owners, Baiyungu, Thalanyji, and Yinigurdira people, the centre operates in joint management to preserve these special areas for future generations.
