Julia is a rural locality in South Australia's Mid North region, situated 111 kilometers north of Adelaide and 10 kilometers north of Eudunda. Established in August 2000, it encompasses an area of 24.27 square kilometers. The community's Lutheran congregation dates back to 1910, with a church built in 1911 and extended in 1928. A public hall opened in 1909, replaced in 1926 and 1958. The Julia Football Club, formed in 1911, participated in various competitions until its dissolution in 1960.
