Jonah Bay, nestled along the western shore of Arthurs Lake in Tasmania's Central Highlands, offers a serene bush camping experience. Accessible via Poatina Road and Gunns Marsh Road, this site features basic facilities, including a unisex chemical toilet with disabled access. Camping is permitted in designated areas, and visitors are encouraged to be self-sufficient. The area is renowned for trout fishing, with submerged timber providing excellent habitats for fish. Boating activities are facilitated by a dual-lane concrete boat ramp with a central pontoon platform. Please note, the campsite operates seasonally, closing from the first week in May and reopening on the last Saturday in July.
