Johnstone Court

Johnstone Court, built in 1925 by Winifred Lilian Johnstone, is a historic arcade in Terang, Victoria. Designed by architect Warburton Perry Knights, it features a symmetrical brick façade with rendered decorations and a cantilevered verandah along High Street. The arcade houses nine shops, six facing High Street and three opening into an internal courtyard. The interior boasts original glazed tiling, display windows, lead-lighting, and a glazed barrel-vaulted ceiling. Notably, the State Electricity Commission of Victoria occupied the arcade's offices in its early years.
