Jewel Cave, located in Deepdene, Western Australia, is the state's largest publicly accessible cave, renowned for its breathtaking size and stunning crystal formations. Visitors embark on a fully guided one-hour tour through three expansive chambers, showcasing towering stalagmites, delicate straws, intricate shawls, and glittering stalactites that have taken thousands of years to develop. Guides use lighting to highlight these formations and share insights into cave systems, historical anecdotes, and tales of Tasmanian Tigers that once fell into the cave. Before or after the tour, guests can enjoy a self-guided walk through the towering karri forest. Amenities include a café, gift shop, and accessible facilities. The cave is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm, with tours departing every hour. Admission is $25 for adults, $23 for seniors, and $12.50 for children aged 4 to 16. Children under 4 enter free when accompanied by an adult. Please note, the cave is closed on Christmas Day.
