Jesuit Retreat Centre

Nestled in the tranquil Clare Valley, the Jesuit Retreat Centre offers a serene environment for prayer and contemplation. Established in 1851, it provides 24 rooms, some with en suite and others with shared bathrooms. Amenities include a large church, small chapel, two meeting rooms, and three dining rooms. Meals feature home-grown produce, and award-winning wines are offered with evening meals. Open to all denominations, the centre is ideal for silent retreats, planning days, formation programs, and day workshops. The park-like setting, shrines, Stations of the Cross, surrounding vineyards, and walking paths, including the nearby Riesling Trail, create an environment conducive to encountering God in a hospitable, peaceful rural setting.
