James Cook University's Thursday Island campus, known as Ngulaigau Mudh, meaning "house of knowledge" in the Kala Lagaw Ya language, is situated at 86-88 Victoria Parade, Thursday Island, Queensland. This facility, adjacent to the Torres Strait Hospital, offers teaching, research, and community engagement opportunities for students in the Torres Strait region. It includes spaces for videoconferencing, a boardroom, accommodation, a PC2 laboratory, pathology sampling rooms, and office areas.
