The Irvinebank School of Arts Hall, constructed in 1900, stands as a testament to the town's rich mining heritage. Built with red cedar, white beech, and hoop pine, this hall has been the focal point of Irvinebank's social life for over a century. Its grand architecture features a large hall with a stage, and semi-enclosed verandah spaces along the two long sides. The hall is fully lined with unpainted red cedar timber boards, on the floor, walls, and partially raked ceiling. A timber arch, featuring moulded and reeded sections, forms the proscenium over the elevated stage, which is lined with diagonal timber boarding as are some of the doors. The building's design reflects the prosperity of Irvinebank during its peak as a base metal mining district. The hall continues to host various community events, preserving its role as a central gathering place in the town.
