
Nestled within Toonumbar National Park, the Iron Pot Creek Campground offers a serene retreat among tall flooded gums and lush rainforest. The campground features 10 spacious, unpowered sites equipped with picnic tables, barbecue facilities, and toilets. A short stroll through a forest of Bangalow palms leads to the pristine creek, renowned for its crystal-clear swimming holes. Wildlife enthusiasts can encounter red-necked pademelons, goannas, carpet pythons, and a variety of bird species. The area is also home to nocturnal creatures like frogs, possums, and gliders. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis, with a fee of AU$12 per night. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own drinking water, cooking water, and firewood. Please note that the campground is accessible via a short walk from the parking area.
