The Inneston Historic Walk, located within the Dhilba Guuranda–Innes National Park, offers a 2.0 km return trail that takes approximately one hour to complete. This well-marked path leads visitors through the historic Inneston village, a once-thriving gypsum mining town from the early 1900s. Interpretive signs along the trail narrate the story of this close-knit community, which was self-sufficient with its own school, post office, bakery, general store, and tennis court. While exploring, be cautious of unstable ruins and ensure you carry sufficient water.
