The gardens are a haven for wildlife, hosting diverse birds, frogs, water dragons, and echidnas. Amenities include picnic areas, barbecues, and accessible paths that meander around the lake and ascend to the Rainforest Gardens. Entry is $5 per adult, supporting the volunteers who maintain and develop these beautiful spaces. The gardens are open on Tuesdays, weekends, and public holidays from 10 am to 5 pm; other times are available by appointment. They also offer picturesque settings for memorable wedding ceremonies, with options like a lily-filled lakeside, a glade of spring blooms, or a dramatic sandstone stairway.
