Hyland Park Beach stretches over 3 kilometers, beginning at the south side of Deep Creek's mouth and curving southward to a low headland. The first kilometer features a low sand spit backed by the creek, while the southern section is bordered by a well-vegetated 15-meter-high dune. The beach receives waves averaging 1.5 meters and typically has an attached bar cut by rips along its length. Access is limited; visitors can reach the beach by crossing Deep Creek from Valla via a footbridge from the Hyland Park caravan park or by walking up the beach from Nambucca Heads to the south.
