The Hunter Bird Observers Club (HBOC), established in 1976, is the largest club in the Hunter Region dedicated to the study and conservation of Australian birds and their habitats. With over 400 members of all ages and experience levels, HBOC offers a full calendar of events, including monthly meetings at the Hunter Wetlands Centre in Shortland, where visitors are always welcome.
