Hughenden Recreational Lake, established in 2019, spans approximately 22 hectares and offers a variety of activities for all ages. The lake is stocked with Sooty Grunter, Sleepy Cod, and Red Claw yabbies, enhancing the fishing experience. Amenities include picnic tables with free gas barbecues, a shaded playground, and a 2.7 km walking and cycling path around the lake. Pets are welcome on leashes, and the area is accessible to all visitors.
