Nestled within Bournda National Park, Hobart Beach campground offers a serene coastal retreat along Wallagoot Lake. Accessible via a 14 km drive north from Merimbula on Sapphire Coast Drive, the campground features 66 marked, unpowered sites suitable for tents, camper trailers, and caravans. Amenities include non-flush toilets, hot showers, picnic tables, and gas/electric barbecues. While the campground lacks drinking water and firewood, these can be brought from home. The area is renowned for its diverse birdlife, including species like the little tern and hooded plover. Visitors can enjoy activities such as swimming, fishing, paddling, and walking along the Kangarutha walking track, which offers scenic coastal views. Please note, there is no mobile phone coverage at the campground, and park entry fees apply.
