The Imperial Hotel, built in 1901, stands as a testament to Ravenswood's prosperous gold mining era. Designed by Eaton, Bates & Polin, this Federation Filigree-style building features exposed red brickwork with cream brick bands, a high parapet concealing a corrugated iron roof, and ornate verandahs on two sides. Inside, the hotel boasts a red cedar public bar with stained glass, a billiard room, and antique furnishings, including four-poster beds and ceramic washstands. The Delaney family managed the hotel for over 90 years, contributing to its rich history.
