The Historic Leyburn Sprints is an annual motorsport event held in the Queensland town of Leyburn, renowned for its 1.0-kilometre closed-street course that winds through the town's historic streets. Celebrating its 29th edition in August 2025, the event showcases over 220 historic, classic, and performance cars, drawing competitors from across Australia. Off-track attractions include a Vintage Van Village, Show 'n' Shine competition, charity auction, fun run, country markets, live music, racing car displays, and appearances by renowned motor-racing personalities. The 2024 Sprints, which celebrated the 75th anniversary of the 1949 Australian Grand Prix, attracted around 18,000 visitors and was awarded Queensland Motorsport Event of the Year by Motorsport Australia.
