Nestled in the heart of Maleny, the Hinterland Business Centre is a community-owned hub dedicated to fostering sustainable local businesses. Established in 2004 with support from the Commonwealth Department of Industry Tourism and Resources, it offers a range of services to the Sunshine Coast Hinterland community. The centre houses various tenant businesses, including Barung Landcare, Eden Lavender Massage Therapy, Ruth Donnelly Holistic Counselling, and Anita Trendle Psychologist. In 2018, it launched the Maleny Makers Centre, providing workshops and a conference room for meet-ups and training. The conference room, measuring approximately 10m x 6m, accommodates up to 50 people for events. Surrounded by tranquil landscapes, the centre serves as a vital resource for local entrepreneurs and community members.
