Nestled along a pristine 7 km stretch of white sandy beach in Hervey Bay, the Hervey Bay Sailing Club offers a picturesque setting for sailing enthusiasts. Established in 1968, the club has become a hub for various sailing classes, including Cobras, Herons, Lasers, Nacras, Hobies, Taipans, A-Class, and Sabots. Protected by the World Heritage-listed Fraser Island, the club provides excellent sailing conditions. It is renowned for hosting the annual Bay to Bay Yacht Race, Queensland's largest trailable yacht race, which has been a highlight since 1981.
