Hellfire Bay, nestled within Cape Le Grand National Park, offers a serene retreat with its pristine white sands and tranquil turquoise waters. Surrounded by towering granite outcrops, the bay provides a picturesque backdrop for various activities, including swimming, snorkeling, fishing, and bushwalking. Amenities such as barbecues, picnic areas, and accessible toilets enhance the visitor experience. The bay's name is believed to be inspired by St Elmo's fire—a bluish flame-like electrical discharge that sometimes occurs above ship's masts. Access is via a 10-meter brick-paved stairway or an accessible terrace near the car park. Please note that pets are not permitted in the park.
