Helensburgh railway station

Helensburgh railway station, located in the bushland setting of Helensburgh, New South Wales, serves as a heritage-listed transport hub on the South Coast railway line. The station features a unique curved island platform with a standard brick single-storey building, completed in 1915. It is serviced by NSW TrainLink South Coast line trains traveling between Sydney Central, Bondi Junction, and Kiama. The station is also the terminating point for one weekday afternoon Sydney Trains service extended from Waterfall, primarily to convey school students. The station is accessible via a modern footbridge with stairs and lifts connecting the platform to the car park on the southern side. Helensburgh station is listed on the New South Wales State Heritage Register, recognizing its historical and aesthetic significance.
