Equipped with a stage and kitchen, it hosts functions, presentations, exhibitions, and stage plays. The hall is home to the Hay Art Group, featuring regular exhibitions from the Art Group and the Hay Patchers and Quilters. Additionally, the Hay photography group Shutterbugs maintains a permanent display of local photographers' work. A notable feature is the 1988 Bicentenary Quilt, crafted by the Hay Patchers and Quilters.
