Hawkings Point Lookout

Hawkings Point Lookout, located at the end of Picnic Street in Picnic Bay, offers a 1.2 km return walk through coastal forest to a granite boulder summit. The trail features stone steps and steep sections, suitable for those with reasonable fitness. From the lookout, enjoy panoramic views of Picnic Bay, Nelly Bay, and Cleveland Bay, with the heritage-listed Picnic Bay jetty in the distance. The area is home to various birds of prey, including White-bellied sea eagles and Peregrine falcons. The lookout is accessible by conventional vehicles, bicycles, or on foot.
