Nestled in the picturesque Hartley Valley, the historic Hartley School and Community Hall offers a charming venue for various events. Established in 1881, this heritage site features a main hall accommodating up to 70 guests, complete with a small stage and air conditioning. Adjacent to the hall, the original schoolhouse, which ceased operations in 1971, provides a more intimate setting for up to 20 people. The expansive grounds include a playground, picnic areas, and shelter sheds, making it ideal for family gatherings, weddings, and community events. Managed by the Hartley Reserves Land Managers, the venue is governed by the Crown Land Management Act 2016. Amenities include accessible parking, a functional kitchen, and modern facilities, all set against the backdrop of late 19th-century architecture and memorabilia. The venue is available for hire, with booking fees starting at $80 for up to four hours. Please note that bookings are not processed on weekends.
