
Harrisons Cut is a historic gold mining site located approximately 15 kilometers north of Dargo, Victoria. Constructed in the early 1880s, this 50-meter diversion channel rerouted the Dargo River, exposing a section of the riverbed for alluvial gold mining. The site is one of about thirteen surviving river diversions from the Victorian gold rush era and is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register, reflecting its historical and scientific significance.
