Located at 13 Kalkee Road in Horsham, Victoria, the Hamilton Lamb Memorial Hall honors Lieutenant George Hamilton Lamb, the only serving member of the Victorian Parliament to die during World War II. Lamb was elected to the Victorian Legislative Assembly in 1935, representing the electorate of Lowan for the Country Party. He enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force in 1940 and served in the Middle East and Java. Captured by Japanese forces, he died in captivity on December 7, 1943. The hall, established in his memory, serves as a community venue for various events and activities.
