Halls Saddle, located in Ridgeway Reserve near the junction of Huon and Pinnacle roads, is a former quarry site owned by the City of Hobart. The area features three tiered levels of flat, cleared ground, offering exclusive views of Kunanyi/Mt Wellington. In April 2025, the City of Hobart proposed transforming Halls Saddle into a visitor information and transport hub to accommodate the increasing number of visitors to Kunanyi/Mt Wellington. The proposal aims to enhance the visitor experience by providing a dedicated gateway to the mountain's forests, walking tracks, and mountain bike trails.
