
Halls Creek is a rural locality in the Snowy Monaro Regional Council area of New South Wales, Australia. Situated southeast of Cooma, it lies on the traditional lands of the Ngarigo people. The area is characterized by cleared grazing lands and forested regions along its eastern side. The Dangelong Nature Reserve, established in 1999, encompasses 4,974 hectares and is located within the locality. The reserve is accessible via Dangelong Road, which runs through the area. The nearest town is Cooma, approximately 25 kilometers to the northwest.
