Gunning Wind Farm, located 70 km north-east of Canberra in New South Wales, comprises 31 wind turbines with a total capacity of 46.5 MW. Operational since May 2011, it generates enough clean energy to power approximately 36,000 homes annually, offsetting around 160,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year. The turbines are situated on the privately owned Walwa property, predominantly cleared pastoral land, which continues to be used for grazing.
