Gullen Range Wind Farm, located near Bannister in New South Wales' Southern Tablelands, comprises 73 turbines generating up to 165.5 MW of renewable energy. The wind farm spans 22 km from north to south, with its operations and maintenance facilities situated near Bannister. In 2017, a 10 MW solar farm was co-located adjacent to the wind farm, marking Australia's first large-scale wind and solar hybrid project. The combined facilities produce enough electricity to power approximately 70,000 homes, significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions. While the wind farm is not open to the public, tours of the adjacent wind and solar farm are available by appointment.
