Gulaga National Park, covering 4,673 hectares, is a sanctuary of rich Aboriginal heritage and natural beauty. The park's centerpiece, Gulaga Mountain, holds profound spiritual significance for the Yuin people, especially Aboriginal women. In May 2006, the park was returned to its traditional owners, the Yuin people, in a historic agreement. Visitors can immerse themselves in Aboriginal culture through the Gulaga creation experience or explore the old mining access roads, offering panoramic views of the coastal lakes. The park is accessible via Tilba Tilba or Central Tilba, with Wallaga Lake areas best accessed by boat.
