Grindells Hut Campground

Grindells Hut Campground, nestled within the Vulkathunha-Gammon Ranges National Park, offers a secluded retreat accessible via a 4WD track from Balcanoona. The campground features designated sites along the creek beneath Grindells Hut, accommodating tents and camper trailers. Amenities include long-drop toilets and BBQ facilities. Campfires are permitted, subject to seasonal restrictions. The area provides access to the Weetootla and Italowie Gorge hikes, inviting exploration of the park's rugged landscapes. Please note, the campground operates on an unpowered basis, with a maximum of nine vehicles permitted.
